TIM Jooste

Also working in the field of pastoral psychology, he has been a Christian Minister for 41 years.  Presently he is heading the Novus Vita group of congregations that are spread all over South Africa.  He is also involved in similar ministries in Italy, the Philippines and Australia.  He is also the Director of the International Island Mission.  Due to the trauma he has seen in the lives of many people over the years, he has completed a D Litt et Phil degree at the University of South Africa in the Department of Criminology.  He also holds a post-graduate qualification in Psychology and is registered as a Mediator for Family Courts. The focus for this research was on family violence.  He is also involved with forensic work. He lives in Silverton, Pretoria.

Herman Conradie

He is a life-long academic who worked at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and the North West University.  He spend the latter part of career working at the University of South Africa as professor in the Department of Criminology (1981-2008).  He has also completed a B Min degree and since then started working in the field of pastoral psychology.  He specialized in crimes against women and children and delivered more than 20 M- and D-students during his career.  He retired at the end of 2008.  Now he works full time with dr. Jooste with the view of assisting traumatized people to get their lives back to peace and tranquility.  He is also involved with forensic work. He lives in Lyttelton, Centurion.
